The Truth Behind The Phelps Nuptials

One of the biggest questions surrounding this recent event is Was there a groom?
Recently released photos have shown only Sheena (the bride) and her entourage sporting what seemed to be wedding attire, but where was Seth (the groom)?
Speculation began once the photos surfaced on myspace, facebook, and multiple blog sites. Was Seth really at the wedding? Is Sheena trying to fool the media with this "Mock Wedding"?
A source close to the couple suggests that "the wedding was legit, and Seth was in attendance"
A source (who shall remain nameless) has submitted the following photograph to Organized Chaos. They stated "I hope that this photograph will put all rumors to rest in the case of the missing groom, so that the couple can just continue to go about their everyday lives in peace."

It's the real thing baby...

As I have told you in an earlier blog I have stopped biting my nails. Not to say that I haven't been tempted but I have put up a pretty good fight. I have never had nails before, so I went yesterday and got my first "REAL NAIL" manicure. No acrylics, no drills. It was so nice. I figure if I pay to get them done then it will be less tempting to chew them off. So here are my new nails. Not like that changes the fact that I was cursed with my dads huge man hands but it makes them look somewhat feminine.

Check it out...

What a wonderful day....

I just want to say thank you to all my girls (Stacy, Courtney, Morgan, Olivia, and Presley) for making my wedding day so special. I love all of you and I even though that day was a little "CRAZY" it was soooooo much fun. It wouldn't have been the same without you! All of you looked beautiful.
I also want to say thank you to Julia. You were so amazing and I am so lucky to have had you as my photographer. Thank you for all the hard work you are putting into the pictures, I really appreciate it. You have my highest recommendations and I am looking forward to working with you in the future when we have some little ones on the way. :)
Here are just a few pics of my lovely ladies.......all thanks to Julia of course.

There's a new toy in town

Presley and I had a mother/daughter weekend while Seth was home in Kentucky. So like any good mother I take my baby to the store to pick out a new toy. Usually we default to what we know as BOBO. So I pick one up and continue walking down the aisle, when I spot a springy little daschund toy. I put it on the ground and Pres immediately takes it is her mouth and starts carrying it around.
A new toy, treats, and a collar later, we leave the store to head home. When we get home Presley starts playing with the new toy which is now named "Slinky". She likes to drag out all her toys and rotate between them as she sees fit, but ever since we got Slinky she hasn't put him down. BoBo along with a number of other toys were left in the basket.
All I can think about is Toy Story when Buzz Light Year comes into the picture and Andy just puts Woody on the shelf. I feel bad for BOBO now. He has been many miles with Pres. Maybe she is just caught up in the excitement of a new toy. I guess only time will tell.

WHY NOT??

I have officially been inspired!!! WOO HOO!! I FEEL GREAT!

Peggy & Debbie met back in 19xx performing in “The Music Man” in Brooklyn Heights. They both led the gypsy lifestyle…audition to audition and corporate survival jobs…you know the deal.

As friends, they always felt that they would collaborate on a theatrical production. In between shows, they worked together at Magnolia Bakery having fun, eating cupcakes and waiting on people. Some of their craziest ideas grew out of that experience…as well as some very fond memories.
In the spring of 2002, each of them reached respective crossroads in their careers. Deb had been doing the corporate circuit and Peg was doing the bakery thing full-time between auditions. It was time for each of them to take a huge leap of faith. Peg had the initial impulse to open a bakery. It was solidified after a phone call to Deb. The idea was born. Now, all they had to do was learn how to bake.
Debbie had a dusty old Betty Crocker cookbook that her parents had given her and decided it was a good a place to start. So, every Sunday for the next 1-1/2 years in Deb’s kitchen the two experimented. Some of the things they baked were great triumphs and others…well, it was back to the baking board. They had many willing guinea pigs, some of whom were extremely brave…they owe a lot of thanks to many of a certain coffee shop’s former employees for their willing participation in the great taste-offs of sugar Sweet sunshine.
In between baking, working survival gigs and picking up wholesale clients, Deb & Peg were writing a business plan, looking at potential locations and trying to make enough money to make sugar Sweet sunshine happen. There are so many people that were met along the way who were so instrumental to the journey and quite patient with their inexperience in opening a business. To say “Thank You” isn’t enough, so they got lots of baked goods.
sugar Sweet sunshine was unofficially open Thanksgiving 2003. For 48 hrs. Deb & Peg baked in their brand new kitchen with their brand new oven for the first time. The doors were open for those who wanted to take a peek in and see what was going on. The window was decorated with pictures of the two baking in Deb’s kitchen and their early baking creations. Deb & Peg always had the open door policy and it still applies today-you can see right into the kitchen.
December 22, 2003 marks the day the “Open” sign went up on the door of sugar Sweet sunshine.
Peg & Deb don’t claim to be pastry chefs-just two girls who set out to do their own thing. They wanted to create an atmosphere that’s warm, inviting, fun and remains carefree enough to believe in the “Why Not?”

It's Official

I am officially a military dependent. Got the badge to prove it now!! You would have thought that we were trying to get some maximum security clearance the way they were interrogating us.

"ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT FORMS OF ID?"
"Yes"
"ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU ARE SURE?"
"Yes"
"DRIVERS LICENSE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, MARRIAGE LICENSE"
"Yes"
"ARE YOU SURE?"
I mean honestly 90% of the people that come in there must not have anything they need because they were shocked that we had all the right documentation, and bound and determined to find something that we were missing.

WTF?

The weirdest things has happened. Since I have been married (coming up on 3 weeks now) I have stopped biting my fingernails. This is a habit that I have been trying to break for 15 years now. WTF? I just have no urge to do it anymore. Random I know but I just thought I would share.

BIG Deal

After much speculation, Chris Noth has reportedly signed on to play his role as Mr. Big in the Sex and the City movie. I mean really was there ever any doubt. Isn't that the whole reason for doing the movie. I mean I am the biggest Sex and the City fan ever, and I am already a little skeptical about the movie and how they are going to pull it off after almost 4 years. So if Big wasn't going to be in the movie they might as well make it a straight to DVD release.

I really hope these ladies can make this movie great, but it has been a while and it could end up just being creepy. Like Britney Spears on that stipper pole!! YIKES!

"You're such an idiot Dwigt"

Ok...This was too good not to be reposted...If you don't get it then you are probably a loser. Enough said.

I.R.S = D-Bags

So by now we have all seen that lucky schmuck that caught Barry Bonds #756. Well to his suprise now he owes the government $210,000. WTF??? They have estimated that the ball is worth about $600,000, and according to the IRS his lucky catch is now taxable income. Here is the part that really blows my mind, even if he does not sell the ball, he still owes the taxes. So really he has no choice but to sell the damn thing. It is just crazy to me that you can go to a baseball game any other time and catch home run balls and noone even gives it a second thought, but because this ball is a record breaking ball they are laying the hammer down on that poor guy.
In 1998 the IRS initially said that the fan who caught Mark McGwire's 62nd home run ball, to break Roger Maris' record for Most Home Runs in a season was subject to taxes, even though he returned the ball to the Cardinals. Later that year a fan caught the 70th homerun ball and sold it Todd McFarlane for $3 million, but I guess that is ok because, who cares about the 70th home run ball right.

Ayo Technology

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv62s4m41GI

For whatever reason I couldn't get this video to load on my page. Click the link above and watch 50 Cent and Justin Timberlakes new video. "Ayo Technology" is the third single from 50 Cents upcoming third album "Curtis" It's not your typical 50 Cent sound but I am really diggin it. You can definately tell it's a Timbaland beat though.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen

Oh my gosh how did I not know that Rachael Ray was in FHM? This makes me love her that much more. She isn't one of these freakishly beautiful, 7ft Brazilian women, with abnormally perfect bodies, that we waste our time trying to be. I think it is so hot because she is just a normal woman and yet she can turn on the sex appeal, and make a meal in under 30 minutes. What is better than that? WOO HOO for real women everywhere. Awww I just love her!

Excuse me, that is MY glass slipper

It has been a while since I have written, but I have been UBER busy the past few weeks. In that time I have managed to move into a new apartment, visit family in KY, get married, come back to VA, organize the new place, and now FINALLY I am slowing down a bit.
But anyway I have been knocked down once again. Another obstacle put in my way to try to keep me from being happy. Well you know what....I am not staying down this time. I am so sick of letting all these things that are out of my control upset me, and bring me down. I have been through alot and I am stronger because of it.
As I laid in bed last night I was just thinking about everything. Thoughts were just racing through my brain. I know what I want, and I am going to do whatever it takes to get it. As weird as it may sound, I couldn't stop thinking about Cinderella. All she wanted was her chance at happiness, but that evil step mother, and those ugly sisters just kept messing everything up for her. Well we all know how that story ends. At the risk of sounding cocky, I am young, intelligent, beautiful, and funny. I have a great personality, and a great support system from my husband, family and friends. I can do any damn thing that I want to. For the time being it may seem as if I am taking a step back, but every fairy tale has it's fair share of adversity, and you will definatley be seeing this Cinderella Happily Ever After very soon.
