So as you all know the Writers Guild of America is on strike and with damn good reason, but still as an avid television viewer I am freaking bummed. This means no new episodes of The Office are being filmed and from Jenna Fischers blog that I read the funniest episode to date was in the works and all production has stopped for the show!!! UGHHH! Damn studios! I don't know why they think that they can just suck up all the money from all the new forms of media with out giving the actors, writers, directors any residuals. WTF??? The studios would be nothing without these people. Do I tune in so that I can see the Peacock Logo at the bottom of my screen. NO!! I tune in to watch Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski and Rainn Wilson, perform the scripts that Greg Daniels and slew of other people wrote and produced. Not that I am like a huge artsy farsty advocate, but damn. Those people work hard and they are getting shit on. PLEASE GIVE THESE PEOPLE SOME MONEY SO I CAN HAVE "THE OFFICE" BACK!!!!!!!
